Su Yingying

Assistant Professor

General Information
Yingying Su holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, and completed her postdoctoral training at McGill University and the Douglas Mental Health University Institute. She is currently an Assistant Professor (Associate Researcher) at the School of Public Health and Emergency Management, Southern University of Science and Technology. Her main research areas are psychiatric epidemiology and clinical epidemiology, with a particular focus on applying the biopsychosocial model to explore the long-term impact of stressors on mental health problems, especially early childhood adversity.

 

To date, she has authored or co-authored 30 SCI/SSCI-indexed papers as either the first author or corresponding author, and has published over 50 papers in leading international journals, including Psychological Medicine, Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry, Epidemiology and Psychiatric Sciences, and American Journal of Epidemiology. In addition, over the past five years, she has been invited to present more than 20 times at major national and international academic conferences, including the World Congress of Psychiatry and the Canadian Society for Epidemiology and Biostatistics Conference.

  • Multimodal assessment of population mental health and      development of early intervention strategies

  • Construction of a life-course mental health management and risk      prediction system

  • Investigation of the etiological mechanisms of neurological and      psychiatric disorders and the development of intelligent diagnostic and      therapeutic systems
