近期，顾东风院士作为主编，牵头公共卫生及应急管理学院与深圳市社区卫生协会等单位，合作编著的《新发呼吸道传染病社区医生防控手册》，在人民卫生出版社出版，旨在提升社区医务人员对新发呼吸道传染病的综合防控能力。

    为提高新发呼吸道传染病社区综合防控水平和应急处置能力，保障社区医务人员职业安全，深圳市社区卫生协会开展新发呼吸道传染病社区防控培训，《新发呼吸道传染病社区医生防控手册》作为培训班教材。中国科学院院士、深圳市社区卫生协会会长顾东风院士向参会学员视频致辞，并着重阐述了社区层面防控对疫情防控的重要意义。学院杨春富助理教授讲解了呼吸道病毒的病原学、流行情况与疫苗预防情况。
